Forehead lifts are generally done on patients over 40 who have excessively sagging, drooping, or wrinkled foreheads. However, they can also be done on younger patients with lower eyebrows that give them a sad appearance or an excessively large-looking forehead. You’re likely a good candidate for a forehead lift and/or a hairline lowering procedure if you have:

What is recovery like after a forehead lift?
After a forehead lift surgery, you’ll briefly visit our observation room, where you’ll be monitored for a few hours to ensure you don’t have an adverse reaction to the surgery or anesthesia. Most patients can return home the same day, with a friend or family member driving them home.
You’ll experience some swelling, bruising, and discomfort that is well-managed with pain medication. Incisions should be kept clean. The sutures will be removed in a follow-up session about a week later. Most patients can resume work within 2 weeks and resume all activities and exercises in 4 weeks. Following the procedure, you will be given a helpful and detailed set of recovery guidelines, and you will have a means to contact us directly in the rare event something unexpected were to occur, or should you simply have questions as recovery progresses.
